Subject: A huge thank you from Kate & Alistair to all at the Symi Visitor
Dear Wendy, Adriana, Sue,
Ian & Kleanthi
Apologies for taking so long to write this thank you for making our wedding on
Symi so memorable and special; when we returned from our month there we were
straight back into London mode and work took over again. Although each year we
spend time on Symi we felt we gained many new friends through the wedding
preparations, and we are so grateful to all at the Symi Visitor for your
patience & understanding with my myriad of questions, and your fabulous
organisational skills with my obsessive attention to detail.
You made it all come together seamlessly and some of my favorite photos are the 'behind the scenes' shots - Despoina proudly displaying her balloon arch on the boat, the restaurant almost decorated and waiting for us to arrive and a photo of the wedding party walking through the harbour with Wendy in the background literally running from one location to the next.
We felt like royalty on the day itself and had such a fabulous time and will remember it forever. As I look out the window it's bucketing down here and we can't wait to be back on Symi to re-live it all again!

Dear Wendy and Adriana
Our journey back was fine and we are now at home surrounded by piles
of washing! I really can't thank you enough for all the hard work and
organisation you all put in both on the day and in the months before to
help us get the best wedding day I could have imagined. It was
wonderful; in fact the whole week was brilliant. Sophia's house was the
perfect base for us.
Everyone else in our party who booked their accommodation
through you was really pleased as well, so I think you have done a
brilliant job all round.
Best of luck with any other weddings you are organising on Symi this
summer. I hope they go as smoothly as ours did. And I hope you all get
a chance to relax and have a break, too!

When we decided to get married in Symi, our main concern was how to
meet the needs of our 70 guests coming from the UK. The Symi
Visitor put our fears at rest. The myriad needs of friends with
young families, large groups, and elderly relatives with mobility
issues were met with patience and good humour and all our guests
arrived to suitable accomodation and their problems solved with a
smile.
Wendy and Adriana were on hand throughout the year of our engagement to
answer all our silly questions and advise us by email. During the
week of our wedding they ran around behind the scenes ensuring our
guests were comfortable and happy and they helped us liaise with
suppliers and put the finishing touches to our amazing wedding, with
the requisite tinkling goat bells, evening sunshine and spectacular
scenery.
Wendy, Adriana and the team love the work they do and it shows - we
felt like VIPs on Symi and will never forget the help that we received
to make a long-held dream become a reality.

The wedding of Rachel Rivera and James Maskell took place at Agia
Marina on Saturday 14 June 2008. The reception afterwards was
held at Mythos restaurant. Over sixty guests from South Africa,
Great Britain and the United States attended the event, organised by
Wendy Wilcox and Symi Visitor Accommodation.
Well-known British actors Kenny Doughty and Caroline Carver chose Symi Visitor Accommodation to organise their wedding on Symi.
